Mizuhiki artist Kaori Funaki started studying Mizuhiki under Master Seika Kaji in 2010. In 2015, Kaori built her own brand “kimusubi” and started selling Mizuhiki items online. Since 2018, Kaori has been invited by big brands, such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton to do Mizuhiki demonstrations in their shops. With vivid colors, sophisticated taste, and bold designs, she continues to transmit the charm of Mizuhiki that fits in with modern sensibilities.
