In this workshop, I’ll talk about herbal teas inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine to help with daily body balance, digestion, and fat management. And you will have the chance to taste several different kinds, and also learn how to brew it!
**Herbal tea, or yakuzen-cha, is a traditional beverage rooted in Chinese medicine, combining herbs, spices, and natural ingredients to promote health and balance within the body. Each blend is tailored to address specific health concerns, such as improving digestion, boosting immunity, weight management or reducing stress, making it a natural approach to well-being.

Makiko Aikawa started practicing tea ceremony in her teenage years and has been introducing Japanese culture for over 15 years during her overseas experiences. Living in China promoted her to delve into Chinese tea, and she revisited her knowledge of Japanese tea. Currently, she conducts regular workshops related to tea in Kobe, Tokyo, and online.
